Karen Lau is the Founder of Prince Ford Asset Management Limited.
Over the past 20 years, Karen has worked with numerous renowned international banks and financial institutions, including UBS, Bank of China International, Bank of Communications and Rothschild. As a seasoned professional in private banking, she has extensive experience and knowledge in advising high net worth clients and managing their family offices as well as managing investments for mid-size corporate enterpris- es.
Karen’s key strengths are in establishing and deepening client relation- ships. Over the years, her dedicated services to clients have been built upon the foundations of trust and integrity. Her ability in delivering innovative solutions has won praise from her clients and her sincerity and persistence in providing quality services have been key to her long lasting client relationships.
With her strong connections, Karen had led teams in her previous positions over the past decade to service Chinese clients who had need for international financial services and advice. One of her achievements was to help setup a private banking department at a major bank to assist Chinese clients at their requests for private wealth services. Karen has a strong network among the Chinese affluent communities. Her fluency in different Chinese dialects and cultural familiarity with Chinese clients are certainly important in assisting clients to understand the services available from an international platform.
Motivated by her vision to develop a first class asset management business, Karen established Prince Ford Asset management Limited in 2017 with a comprehensive financial platform to offer specialised and tailored solutions to high net worth clients. The Prince Ford Asset Manage- ment team consists of like-minded, motivated and experienced profession- als many of them have worked in private wealth management with other international financial institutions for many years.
Karen is a graduate of The Chinese University of Hong Kong.

Mr. Wong Koon Chung, Stephen has decades of experience in the Investment Banking and Private Banking platform, covering a comprehensive range of financial products in FICC (Fixed Income, Interest Rates, Currencies & Commodities) and Equity. His career spanned across various functions, Trading, Structuring and Distributions at various Investment Banks including UBS, HSBC, Chemical Bank (now JP Morgan Chase), Barclays and ABN Amro. His clients were of significant profiles including Central Banks, Asset Management Companies, Hedge Funds, Multinational Corporations, Financial Institutions and Family Offices.
He subsequently moved to Wealth Management with positions at International Private Banks, notably UBS and Bank Julius Baer where he serviced Ultra High Net-Worth clients, many of whom are large Chinese Family Offices. A few of these clients consistently made it to the Forbes’ list of Top 10 richest people in China. Stephen is known for his ability to deliver consistent performance over the years. By using only products of good market liquidity, he achieved returns for his clients of between 10% to 33% per annum.
During his tenure as a Senior Private Banker, he was involved in some major transactions including over USD1.5b in Primary Issuance, over USD1.3b in M&A, and over USD800m in Bank Lending.
Stephen holds a Bachelor’s Degree of Social Sciences (Management and Economics) and Master’s Degree of Electronic Commerce and Internet Computing from the University of Hong Kong.
With over 30 years of working experience in the banking industry, Kit is familiar with management of high networth clients’ assets through investment advisory and discretionary investment mandates to attain their investment objectives and goals.
Kit has acquired experience through different management roles. He was the Team Head of a marketing team and the Executive Officer of regulated activities, responsible for setting up guidelines, providing training for sales and the back office, and monitoring the compliance of the regulated activities. He was also experienced in risk and credit control.
Having served in different roles in local and international financial institutions including DBS of late, Kit is conversant with compliance guidelines, operational procedures and investment products. Kit is also the Responsible Officer of Prince Ford and works to ensure SFC regulations are complied with.
